The Karaha Bodas and Talaga are two geothermal fields which located in Tasikmalaya, West Java. have prospects with the discovery of several surface manifestations form hot springs, fumaroles, acid lakes. orientation structure that developed showed a different orientation. However, no research explains relationship between system field field, potential Cipacing Pamoyanan. survey location is Garut investigation method used qualitative (morphostructure analysis) quantitative (hydrogeochemical methods. Data processing using DEM (Digital Elevation Model) for morphostructure analysis, water chemistry from Bodas, hydrogeochemical analysis. analysis shows systems typical system, having heat sources, as an upflow zone, Pamoyanan potentials outflow zone. Keywords: Conceptual model, hydrogeochemical, morphostructure, Bodas.

Gravity Modeling of the Karaha - Telaga Bodas Geothermal System, Indonesia
The Karaha-Telaga Bodas geothermal system couples spectacular surface manifestations with an extensive geological and geophysical data set. Examination of fluid inclusions and mineral relationships has allowed development of a thermal history for the system. These data suggest that a quartz diorite intrusion encountered in drill samples provides the heat that drives this system. Delineation of ...
متن کاملPetrologic Evidence for Boiling to Dryness in the Karaha-telaga Bodas Geothermal System, Indonesia
Karaha-Telaga Bodas is a recently discovered geothermal system located adjacent to Galunggung Volcano in western Java. Drilling to depths of 3 km has documented an extensive vapor-dominated zone and a deeper liquid reservoir with measured temperatures up to 350C and salinities of 1-2 weight percent. The vein parageneses record the evolution of a high temperature liquid-dominated system that dev...
متن کاملThe Mineralogic Consequences and Behavior of Descending Acid- Sulfate Waters: an Example from the Karaha-telaga Bodas Geothermal System, Indonesia
Acidified steam condensates that are enriched in SO4 but poor in Cl are found in the upper parts of many geothermal systems occurring in steep terrains. In this paper, we characterize the chemical evolution of these acid-sulfate fluids by combining mineral and fluid inclusion relationships from Karaha-Telaga Bodas with numerical simulations of water-rock interactions. These interactions were mo...

Measurement of organic compounds in KarahaTelaga Bodas and Coso fluid inclusions shows there are strong relationships between H2 concentrations and alkane/alkene ratios and benzene concentrations. Inclusion analyses that indicate H2 concentrations > 0.001 mol % typically have ethane > ethylene, propane > propylene, and butane > butylene. There are three end member fluid compositions: type 1 flu...
